If you choose one of our preset payment plans, you will be sent a link for you to complete each payment. You will also receive reminders leading up to each payment’s due date. You will be asked to re-enter your payment information each time – this allows you the flexibility to change payment methods for each installment if needed.
If you choose the Custom Payment Plan option, we will call you within 4-5 business days in order to create a personalized plan with dates that work best for you. You can choose however many installments you like. All payments must be made prior to departure.
You will receive an automatic email from us 1 week before your flights are booked. This will allow you to review the information submitted to ensure there are no errors and make modifications to your travel arrangements if need be. From that point onward, modifications are subject to additional fees as imposed by our airline and hotel partners.
If you choose to book your own flight, you will still receive an automatic email from us with 1 week to review and confirm the information you submitted before we send it to our hotels and partners abroad. See our booking policies for more information.
Yes! In fact, we encourage you to! We’ve created a program called Keep Traveling with Us which allows you to extend your trip before or after the program dates listed above. As part of this program, we offer to book your flights and accommodations until we get you back home! You will only pay the difference in flights and accomodations at the going market rate – no service fees + the best deals we can find you! Just select “I want to extend my trip before and/or after the trip dates” while filling in the registration or contact us afterwards.
*Conditions: We can book up to 3 months of travel before or after the program dates. Maximum of 5 flights (not including layovers). No maximum on the number of hotel/accommodation nights. We will work with you to find the best options based on your requirements.
The $400 deposit that you put down today is non-refundable. This is because we immediately use this amount to start reserving your flights and accommodations which guarantees your spot.
Any cancellations thereafter are subject to the cancellation fees outlined in our booking policies which depend on how long you cancel prior to departure. Our philosophy is simple – if we can recover the fees from our hotel, transportation, and activity partners, we’ll refund you. Please note that the vast majority of our flights are non-refundable to keep program fees low. We will advise you via email 1 week before your flight is booked to ensure that everything is in order.
Safety is our #1 priority. While all the emerging markets we visit are safe, external factors can sometimes make elements of the program difficult to run. You are protected by the FICAV in most of these situations since we are based in Quebec, Canada. If we need to cancel a project for reasons not covered by the FICAV, your entire program fee will be refunded including the $400 deposit.
